Split Custody Canon / 分裂托管正典

Split Custody Canon is an ending family where no claimant can safely own the terminal version alone.

The run ends with two incompatible but durable copies: a formal copy and a public copy, a lawful copy and a witness copy, an edit-safe copy and a black-box copy, or an archive copy and a fan/pirate copy.

Eligibility

The resolver must prove that at least two claimant surfaces remain live and that neither copy can erase the other without causing false ownership, audit debt, or reality drift.

Ending state

Expected terminal state:

• at least two copies survive with named custody;
• the game presents the split as a durable terminal condition, not a temporary ambiguity bug;
• future canon, sequel, epilogue, or route import must read both copy states;
• source ambiguity, archive debt, public distrust, false-owner risk, or reality-drift scar remains visible.

Invalid resolution

This ending is invalid if:

• split custody is converted into a single clean truth at the final screen;
• only one claimant is named;
• one copy is pure flavor and cannot affect future import;
• contradiction is resolved by hidden authorial narration instead of route state;
• eligibility is based on turn count or raw route count.
