The option does not select a review posture, resolve the review, arm the false-default event, or grant any continuity claim. The subsequent review remains a separate end_turn action.

Negative gate

The event must remain unreachable when intake did not resolve, when any intake pressure flag is false or missing, when any lane card is absent, when the challenge already opened, when its event-resolution ledger is already set, or when the review is already resolved. A dashboard, lens result, turn number, raw stamp count, matching desk, or familiar stamp design is never a legal substitute.

Authority boundary

Opening the challenge proves only that current pad identity remains unproven across a named changeover window. It does not validate a refund, establish patron consent, grant sponsor immunity, clean a recap, or transfer archive or voice custody.
