This page specifies the canonical Storyteller behavior of runtime Event 14, storyteller-event-14-chapter-one-aftershock.

The event follows the completed public trial immediately and records who authors the first durable explanation of the broadcast. It does not wait for Rite 14, and it does not itself grant platform authority.

Report custody oracle

The report must preserve:

  • stable report ID;
  • trial docket ID and verdict row it describes;
  • report holder;
  • public, company, lawful, or explicit reader scope;
  • what the report omits or contests;
  • suppression or retaliation cost;
  • future reader.

Signing the report cannot set company authority. Leaking the report cannot set resistance authority. Either report can support, contest, narrow, or default a later claim only when Rite 11 cites the other required rows.

Docket write

Event 14 updates only aftershock_report_row. It must leave platform_claim_row unresolved and platform_authority_granted: false.

Failure shape

The event fails if:

  • it is gated by Rite 14;
  • it fires before Rite 10;
  • it writes a route flag or clean chapter win;
  • the report has no stable holder or scope;
  • signing or leaking silently authorizes Rite 11’s matching route.

Non-goals

  • Not a second verdict.
  • Not a route key.
  • Not platform ownership.
  • Not a substitute for voice, archive, memorial, or character consent.
