This mechanism keeps four facts separate:

three people heard one chorus fragment
  != all three consent to testify
  != their accounts remain a single transferable object
  != they own the master tape or the artist's voice

A valid living-chorus state preserves individual consent or refusal, medical capacity, oxygen protection or sedation, group cohesion, the narrow recalled fragment, actual card presence, and the future reader consuming the result.

An opted-out member forces member-specific citation. Anonymous testimony protects identity but narrows public use. A black-box copy preserves recollection, not current consent. Recruitment creates a protected witness route with ongoing oxygen cost. Capture, hostility, and sedation remove the actual choir card and leave different future scars.
