Quiet Return Archive / 静默归还档案机制
Quiet Return Archive is the terminal-resolution mechanism that turns K-404’s old return lost property promise into a scar-aware ending surface.
The existing mesh already makes K-404 executable through K-404 羁押错配索引机制 and prices returned carriers through 带价羁押归还机制. The missing terminal rule is: a quiet return can close a route only by naming what was returned, who may receive it, which claimant remains unsatisfied, and why the run is not clean.
Quiet return is not forgiveness, disappearance, or a pacifist clean ending. It is an archive state where some lost things are returned with scar, and the rest are left legibly unclaimed, quarantined, split, or recovery-only.

Verified quiet return
The player returns one object to a named receiver with proof scope and a visible denied claimant.
Expected mutation:
- K-404 becomes
quiet_archive_holder,protected_public_terminal, orreturned_with_scar; - the object becomes
returned_with_scar,receiver_named, orroute_asset_recovered_with_locker_scar; - at least one clean ending family is blocked because a denied claimant remains visible;
- quiet return becomes eligible only with cost.
Split return
The player refuses one receiver’s clean claim and splits custody, proof, or public/lawful scope.
Expected mutation:
- object state becomes
split_required,public_only,lawful_only,editor_only,sponsor_only, orroute_only; - future ending must choose split custody, public scar, or recovery-only instead of quiet closure;
- K-404 trust may rise while claimant hostility rises.
Return with price scar
A quote-bearing object can be returned, but only with carrier price, escrow debt, public table, inspection hold, or checksum cost attached.
Expected mutation:
- quote price is not refreshed for free;
- the receiver gains use of the object within a named scope;
- future route becomes accepted-with-scar, costlier, public-table-required, or appeal-required.
Public notice instead of silence
The player decides that silence would erase the harmed reader, so quiet return converts into a public scar notice.
Expected mutation:
- public receipt legitimacy, fan oxygen legitimacy, or route clarity may improve;
- terminal exposure, witness exposure, sponsor pressure, or inspection heat rises;
- quiet return may convert into public-scar or split-custody terminal state.
Quarantine unclaimed
The player preserves an object in K-404’s silent archive because no receiver can honestly accept it.
Expected mutation:
- wrong return is blocked;
- route or ending becomes recovery-only, blocked, lawful-after-review, or unclaimed archive;
- K-404 may become locked, protected, or quarantined.
Suppress terminal
The player hides K-404 or lets a powerful claimant narrate the return first.
Expected mutation:
- short-term sponsor, archive, or management pressure may drop;
- K-404 trust, route asset integrity, and future claim cost worsen;
- K-404 索引冲突反震 fires or arms.
Wrong quiet return default
The resolver files a quiet return without receiver, rival claimant, proof scope, denied claimant, or future effect.
Expected mutation:
- wrong receiver, false owner, silent capture, or false clean terminal state is recorded;
- 报价索引违约 may also fire if a quote-bearing carrier was refreshed falsely;
- quiet return ending is blocked, replaced by recovery-only, or hardens into hostile public scar.
Counter contract
Every successful or default branch changes at least one relief, one cost, and one future gate.
