杜眠 / Call-Sheet Captain
杜眠 is a floor-level call-sheet captain: the person who knows which camera hand has slept, which cable tech is hiding an injury, which rehearsal room is lying about readiness, and which emergency replacement will silently break continuity if assigned to a live slot.
Her design purpose is to make ordinary production labor observable. The current corpus has strong legal, archive, custody, quote, and route-asset surfaces. 杜眠 adds a different pressure: even a lawful ruling and a clean edit cannot go live if the floor crew refuses the call, works the wrong board, or collapses into a blackout-prone skeleton crew.
She is a missable recruitable/support NPC. She should enter when crew load, live-slot risk, or call-sheet ambiguity becomes state-relevant; never from a fixed turn number.
Runtime identity
Her executable object is card.du_mian_call_sheet_captain. rite.call_sheet_reassignment must receive that exact card in call_sheet_captain_or_absence; assigning an inspector, sponsor, liability card, explicit-absence card, or generic helper must fail. The strict rite retains all eleven exact assignments: it mutates the selected runner lane, keeps the unselected board row scope-only, and uses storyteller.card.call_sheet_branch_cost_surface.v1 to prove the chosen branch’s accepted cost rather than universal overtime. The recruit branch grants only route_asset.du_mian_call_sheet_captain.
Only the explicit silence_warning or accept_absence choices arm event.crew_refusal_default. accept_absence is selected after assigning Du Mian and records missed_by_clean_ruling; it is not a captain-slot input. The event resolves exactly one of four pairs: crew_refusal / slot_delayed, sponsor_schedule / blackout_skeleton_default, hostile_leak / public_safety_leak, or absent_captain / slot_blocked.
Recruitable / missable states
| State | Meaning | Play consequence |
|---|---|---|
call_sheet_warning | 杜眠 flags that a live slot is being staffed with unsafe or contradictory crew coverage. | The player can hear her, bury her note, convert it into triage, or let the slot proceed. |
floor_crew_advocate | She trusts the producer enough to report true crew load. | Crew refusal risk becomes visible before it defaults. |
neutral_call_sheet_captain | She remains available but not loyal. | She can stabilize one slot for cost, but will not hide overwork for free. |
management_pressure_proxy | She is forced to sell the official call sheet. | Short-term slot stability may rise; crew morale and trust fall. |
public_safety_witness | She gives public or audit-facing testimony about unsafe floor work. | Inspection heat and public legitimacy rise; sponsor and schedule pressure worsen. |
blackout_skeleton_lead | She accepts a skeleton crew to avoid immediate cancellation. | The slot can air, but blackout and miscue risks rise sharply. |
suppressed_floor_voice | Her warning is buried by production, sponsor, or legal pressure. | Future crew refusal becomes harder and more hostile. |
hostile_call_sheet_leak | She leaks the real call sheet after being explicitly silenced or blamed. | Audience distrust, inspection heat, and route cost rise. |
missed_by_clean_ruling | The player treats law/edit/custody success as enough, or deliberately chooses accept_absence after assigning her. | Later live slots can default into refusal or blackout without her as a stabilizer. |
Entry contract
杜眠 can appear when all of the following are true:
- a live, rehearsal, clearance, memorial, emergency, or correction slot needs floor crew coverage;
- at least one crew lane is over capacity, ambiguous, locked by another crisis, or explicitly absent;
- the slot can affect broadcast reality, schedule pressure, audience stability, blackout risk, person safety, or route access;
- the player can assign, rest, rotate, overwork, silence, pay, publicize, or accept absence;
- at least one durable counter or future route will change.
What she does that higher-rank handlers cannot
杜眠 does not write rulings, own archive copies, negotiate sponsor doctrine, or edit canon. She knows the live floor. Her value is practical and dangerous:
- she can expose that a slot has no real grip, medic, runner, board operator, or safety watcher;
- she can distinguish a merely expensive overtime slot from a refusal-ready one;
- she can turn a hidden fatigue problem into an assignable management choice;
- she can protect a small worker from becoming the invisible default actor;
- she can warn when a skeleton crew will preserve broadcast continuity but poison future trust.
A famous character may still help, but cannot replace the call sheet unless the branch records who actually worked the floor or why that absence matters.
Handler relations
- 林乔 can coordinate field movement but can also overload runners if 杜眠’s warning is explicitly silenced.
- 梁雾 can price the stability risk, but cannot make unsafe coverage safe by spreadsheet alone.
- Sponsor or manager pressure can buy silence, but creates
management_pressure_proxyorhostile_call_sheet_leakrisk. - Security can force a crew line open elsewhere in the world model, but
security_flooris not a current terminal actor ofevent.crew_refusal_default.
Miss and recovery
杜眠 is missed when the player repeatedly resolves live production problems through legal, archive, edit, sponsor, or custody authority while never naming floor coverage, rest, substitution, or refusal.
Recovery is possible only through visible cost: pay owed overtime, sacrifice a slot, publish the safety issue, accept audit heat, rotate a prized handler off a glamour task, or run a narrower live version with an explicit skeleton crew scar.
Non-goals
- Not a generic worker token.
- Not a fixed-turn recruit.
- Not a universal safety switch.
- Not a governance or HR policy page.
- Not valid unless her state changes crew load, live-slot safety, blackout risk, staff trust, or future route access.
