Signal Escrow Counteroffer Review

Signal Escrow Counteroffer Review is the management rite for deciding whether a later reader may spend an already escrowed signal after a counteroffer appears.

The rite cannot be satisfied by saying that the signal was already placed in escrow. It must bind the future reader to source signal, holder, counteroffer reader, harmed reader, bridge, selected posture, after-state, future effect, and counter deltas.

The public receipt table can proceed, but future routes must cite the public receipt and pay artist option cost.

Limit Sponsor Use

Attach Archive Bridge

The counteroffer cannot travel until an archive checksum, lawful annex, or route custody note bridges the old signal to the later use.

Split Signal Readers

The signal is split so public, sponsor, archive, artist, inspector, lawful, or route readers cannot consume one another’s consent.

The counteroffer is blocked until the harmed reader and proof bridge are named.

Invert To Artist Option

The escrow becomes an artist option; future broadcast use must ask the displaced artist reader before sponsor or route consumption.

False Signal Counteroffer Default

The counteroffer is filed as clean universal consent; future routes become recovery-only unless another packet repairs the false-clean row.

Failure Signs

The review fails if:

• a branch does not name future reader effect;
• a branch has fewer than three counter deltas;
• the harmed reader and counteroffer reader are collapsed;
• proof bridge is implied instead of named or marked explicit absence;
• the selected posture declares the signal universally clean.
