Play purpose

林乔 is the low-rank field logistics card who makes custody movement playable. She can carry receipt packets, swap seals, recover missing stubs, expose who saw a transfer, become protected, be underpaid, turn hostile, or disappear before a hearing.

She is not a numbered-turn continuation and not a new main character. She exists to turn “who physically moved the evidence” into assignable management/RPG pressure inside route-assets-and-custody.

2. event.runner_seen_near_archive_door — she appears as witness, suspect, or courier depending on prior suppression/success branch.
3. rite.fan_oxygen_side_queue_delivery — use fan oxygen queue access to move a custody copy without official docket exposure.
4. shadow-crew-custody-leak — she becomes visible when an evidence transfer leaks into service corridors.

Legacy turn-prefixed rite names may remain as implementation aliases, but the canonical design should use reusable state-triggered hooks.

Recruit / miss / hostile / route-asset states

Recruit branch

Player assigns either 沈洛 / 折纸经纪人, 郁蓝 / 未授权史官, 韩砚霜 / 白手套监察, 白鸦 / 黑箱剪辑师, or equivalent support with payment or protection. 林乔 becomes recruited_runner and unlocks one low-risk custody delivery action per route window.

Observable deltas:

• add card: card.lin_qiao_chain_runner
• add tag: recruited_runner
• reduce custody_gap by 1
• increase payroll_leak or favor_debt by 1
• reveal one hidden route clue from inspection, archive, sponsor, or fan oxygen pressure

Miss branch

Player ignores her for two offered windows or fails to protect her after exposure. She is not recruited and becomes unavailable until a later hostile evidence event.

Observable deltas:

• add tag: runner_missed
• increase custody_gap by 1
• increase fan_oxygen_resentment by 1 if fan queue was used without compensation
• suppress rite.weekly_low_rank_custody_delivery

Hostile branch

If sponsor or inspector pressure is already high and the player uses coercion, 林乔 sells or leaks a receipt packet.

Observable deltas:

• increase sponsor_stop_loss_pressure by 1
• create event: event.receipt_packet_counterclaim

Route-asset branch

If recruited and protected through one replay-proven custody job, she converts into a persistent route asset.

Observable deltas:

• replace temporary card with route_asset.lin_qiao_custody_runner
• unlock rite.chain_safe_small_delivery
• reduce future archive_debt penalty on one archive, memorial, voice, or receipt custody action

The unlock continues in 林乔安全小件交接线, which requires a named packet, origin and destination custodians, payment/protection, receipt proof, a future reader, and a visible branch cost. The unlock is not satisfied by a flag alone.

Costs and failure pressure

林乔 must not be a free solution. Any use should require at least one of:

• money / petty cash
• favor debt with low-rank staff
• risk of payroll leak
• risk of fan oxygen resentment if fans are used as cover
• risk of white-glove inspection visibility
• risk of sponsor stop-loss retaliation

Failure states should be recoverable but not cosmetic. A failed delivery should change custody counters, suppress a rite, create a hostile witness, or harden a false custody owner.
