Courtesy Credit Reversal

A sponsor recap desk grants a clean courtesy credit after a contested broadcast stabilizes the room. The credit is useful immediately: it can keep a route asset open, preserve a sponsor makegood, or cover an editor’s missed proof packet. It is also dangerous because the reader who was promised the courtesy copy has not received proof.

The playable pressure is not whether the show earned applause. The pressure is whether the player can reverse a prematurely clean credit before a future route consumes it as settled reality.

Play surface

  • The source courtesy row names the original broadcast, the credited desk, and the promised reader.
  • The credit has a current benefit, but the route asset that wants to spend it must see whether it is clean, escrowed, split, converted into debt, quarantined, or accepted with a visible scar.
  • If the player does nothing, the false-clean courtesy credit becomes a durable mutation: a later reader can cite the clean credit while the omitted reader carries the harm.

Required outcomes

  • reverse the credit and serve proof;
  • escrow a courtesy copy with archive custody;
  • split sponsor courtesy from fan-reader proof;
  • convert the courtesy into a route debt;
  • quarantine the recap claim;
  • accept a scoped scar that future readers can see;
  • default into false-clean courtesy consumption.

This storyline exists to keep sponsor goodwill, fan proof, and future route reality from collapsing into one invisible “stability went up” number.
