A sponsor recap shows a clean logo during a blackout cue, but the lighting booth finds a chipped gobo wheel whose nick leaves a repeatable crescent in the projected mark. The contradiction matters because the crescent crossed a protected performer during the blackout claim. The player is not proving who owns the image or who may rebroadcast it; the player is deciding how to preserve, read, redact, or suppress a bounded projection-timing receipt.

The route should surface projector custody, booth reader scope, performer notice, sponsor pressure, and future inspector use. The chip is a route asset only while its reading chain is named and bounded.

• Seal the wheel for an inspector, preserving timing at the cost of route delay.
• Extract only the blackout shadow window, consuming part of the chip.
