A sponsor desk tries to reuse an earlier interpreter relay as proof that a later audience, archive reader, or route claimant understood the broadcast terms. The old relay may have been accurate for the original room, but the language, interpreter, audience need, custody surface, sponsor pressure, or harmed reader has changed.

The pressure is playable only when a future consumer is trying to spend the old relay. It is not a weekly accessibility cleanup and not a raw count of translated lines.

Consequences

Constructive branches preserve access legitimacy but create visible upkeep, notice, or proof-bridge costs. The default lowers immediate pressure by treating the relay as clean universal comprehension, then mutates future play: harmed readers become hostile, route claims become costlier, or archive custody requires recovery-only handling.
