Lobby Scent Diffuser Afteruse Receipt

Citrus Batch B17 was released as one atmosphere cue in the north lobby. After the route changed, the scent crossed its original zone through the ventilation system while unscented egress signage pointed elsewhere. Tao Yu’s exposure claim records that the plume and the safe route were not the same thing.

The later danger comes from Broadcast Reality: if a sponsor recap calls the familiar scent proof of a safe route, the city may begin treating the scented path as clearance even though concentration, HVAC flow, signage, and claimant evidence disagree.

Storyline beats

Beat 1 - Original-zone cue

Record the source diffuser row, Citrus Batch B17, the north-lobby original zone, the intended cue window, and the steward or explicit absence. This establishes a bounded atmosphere cue, not safety authority.

Beat 2 - Cross-zone plume

The lobby route changes and the plume appears beyond its original zone. A concentration or plume map, ventilation log, cartridge record, and unscented signage now matter independently of the source row.

Beat 3 - Exposure and future claim

Tao Yu’s exposure claim remains visible while a future route reader asks to treat the familiar scent as evacuation, hospitality, archive, or recap clearance. The claim cannot be collapsed into a generic audience-harm flag.

Beat 4 - Pressure intake

storyteller.rite.lobby_scent_diffuser_pressure_intake.v1 assigns source_diffuser_row, batch_scope, harm_claim, and future_route. Choice zero, record_cross_zone_scent_pressure, records lobby_scent_diffuser.pressure.batch_route_changed, lobby_scent_diffuser.pressure.future_reader_claimed_clearance, and lobby_scent_diffuser.pressure.harm_claim_visible as separate upstream observations.

Beat 5 - Cross-zone entry

storyteller.event.lobby_scent_diffuser_cross_zone_pressure.v1 requires lobby_scent_diffuser.pressure_intake_recorded, all three upstream observations, and all seven exact cards. Its only entry option, open_cross_zone_plume_review, sets lobby_scent_diffuser.afteruse_pressure_opened, lobby_scent_diffuser.cross_zone_plume_visible, lobby_scent_diffuser.future_clearance_claim_pending, and lobby_scent_diffuser.harm_claim_pending. It also records the intermediate state lobby_scent_diffuser.state.contested_cross_zone_cue and moves crossZonePlumeRisk +2, crowdCueLegibility +1, audienceScentClaimPressure +1, and futureRouteCost +1.

Beat 6 - One-shot review

The nonrepeatable review consumes one exact seven-slot packet and selects one of seven outcomes:

The tuple order is physical or operational scent state, then future-route effect. Only the seventh branch arms the false-default event.

Beat 7 - False safe-route reality

The default resolves through exactly one of three terminals:

The first two preserve an aired false-route scar while forcing an HVAC or zone response. The third accepts scent as route reality and leaves later recovery to stronger physical and broadcast contradiction.

Reachability and missability

All seven review branches share one reachable seven-card packet after the intake and entry sequence. The review is nonrepeatable, so resolving one branch makes the other six missable for that incident. Seven starter cards alone cannot open the entry or review, and the false default is unreachable unless the seventh review branch arms it.

Non-overlap boundary

This storyline is about concentration, plume movement, zone boundaries, HVAC handling, unscented egress, and Tao Yu’s exposure claim. It does not resolve cosmetic-contact allergy evidence, medical-air inventory or oxygen allocation, or quotation and endorsement rights.
