A sound operator spliced an orchestra-pit pickup so the live broadcast could survive a blackout hum. The splice captured a musician’s breath count and a guest performer’s cue, but the sponsor later wants to spend that row as if it granted voice custody, memorial reuse, sponsor edit authority, and route ownership.

Playable pressure: the player must preserve the splice as a narrow technical repair while deciding whether a future reader can cite it, must attach a sound-board bridge, or must reopen the harmed musician or guest. If the player lets the packet default, future routes inherit a false-clean audio basis and become recovery-only.
