Yan Ci / 严慈 — Breach-Ward Night Nurse

Yan Ci is the night nurse who notices when a medical wristband number is copied, replaced, or rewritten as a program prop number. She can prove that a particular crosswalk existed, who handled it, which shift was on duty, and where the row went after her affidavit.

Her source card promises a recruitable, missable medical-custody witness first encountered through storyteller-rite-ward-01-triage-ledger. It names ward_custody_integrity, medical_mercy, audience_witness_debt, a shift-transfer miss, and the existing Ward 04 affidavit. This packet makes Yan Ci herself gainable, assignable, recruitable, suppressible, hostile, and missable while preserving the affidavit as context for the Oxygen Mask Choir.

Identity and authority

Yan Ci is a crosswalk-custody witness. She can attest that one medical wristband number was mapped to one program prop number, preserve the written crosswalk, identify the shift roster and receiving custodian, narrow her affidavit scope, refuse an overbroad affidavit, or expose a program-prop conversion audit.

She does not determine who a patient truly is, whether a patient has legal personhood, whether a patient or choir member consented, whether sedation or treatment is appropriate, who receives oxygen, which medicine may be supplied, or who owns a voice, archive, or memorial object.
