This character storyline binds Yan Ci to the existing breach-ward chain. The source ward already contains a triage ledger, the Bed 17 wrong-name audit, Yan Ci’s affidavit, and downstream choir testimony. The missing character pressure is whether Yan Ci and the medical-to-prop-number crosswalk remain available after her shift is moved.

The central question is:

Storyline spine

Beat 1 — Ward 01 gains the actual nurse

The triage ledger is not enough. Ward 01 gains card-storyteller-ward-nurse-yan-ci and writes availability so later play can distinguish her presence, transfer, suppression, and explicit absence.

Beat 2 — Ward 03 separates wristband from prop number

The Bed 17 wristband and the wristband-to-prop-number crosswalk remain separate evidence. The crosswalk records that production converted or copied a medical identifier; it does not establish the patient’s true identity or personhood.

Beat 3 — Ward 04 scopes Yan Ci’s affidavit

The affidavit records what Yan Ci personally observed, the shift roster, the crosswalk row, and who received it. She may refuse an overbroad affidavit. Her refusal belongs to her and cannot represent a patient or choir member.

Beat 4 — Review changes person and crosswalk

Run Yan Ci Medical Custody Review. Choices 0 through 4 retain the actual Yan Ci card. Choices 5 through 7 remove it. Only choice 0 creates a route asset. Choice 7 arms the shift-transfer default.

Beat 5 — A named reader consumes narrow custody

A lawful reader, public audit, inspector, program-prop desk, protected transfer handler, company shift desk, hostile counterclaim, or recovery route may consume the result. None receives patient identity, consent, treatment, oxygen, medicine, voice, archive, memorial, or universal ward authority.
