Han Cutroom Final Cut Custody Lens

This lens observes editor-han-cutroom and the shared custody state machine in route-assets-and-custody. It is observed through editor-han-cutroom, last-performance, unedited-live-vocal-master, voice-custody-injunction, black-screen-unlicensed-echo, receipt-packet-counterclaim, receipt-counterclaim-hearing, and last-performance-voice-custody.lens.

Purpose

Han Cutroom must not remain a one-line editor utility. This lens ensures Han becomes a recruitable, missable, hostile, and capturable route asset whose final-cut custody changes broadcast outcomes, source legitimacy, voice custody, sponsor pressure, and artist survival states.

The storyline is valid only if Han’s state changes what the player can assign to final-cut, receipt, voice, and archive disputes. Han must be a playable cutroom custodian, not flavor text beside last-performance.

State-triggered entry

Open this surface when all of the following are true:

  1. a final-cut or voice-custody object is unresolved: schedule.last_performance, unedited live vocal master, voice custody injunction, black-box echo, receipt packet, memorial air copy, or equivalent source object;
  2. at least two claimant factions can contest the cut: artist, sponsor, archive, inspector, fan witness, editor authority, or AI voice claimant;
  3. Han’s route asset state is one of unseen, offered, recruited, protected, missed, hostile, captured, or false_owner;
  4. at least one pressure counter is live: voice_integrity, archive_debt, artist_trust_loss, inspection_heat, sponsor_stop_loss_pressure, public_receipt_legitimacy, fan_oxygen_resentment, or black_screen_slots.

Do not open this lens from a fixed numbered-turn trigger. Schedule deadlines and replay ranges may exist as evidence provenance, but the canonical trigger is custody state plus contested source state.

Required observable content

Route asset states

Han must expose an observable state:

StateMeaningRequired effect
unseenHan exists in the cutroom but has not entered the offer set.No branch may depend on Han yet.
offeredHan appears through a final-cut, source dispute, or custody event.Player can recruit, protect, bargain, ignore, suppress, or expose.
recruitedHan becomes an assignable cutroom source custodian.At least one rite accepts Han as editor/custody assignment.
protectedHan survives inspection or sponsor pressure with explicit cost.Unlocks safer final-cut handling while increasing another pressure.
route_assetHan becomes durable cutroom custody infrastructure.Unlocks a repeatable or route-specific source verification action.
missedThe final cut locks without Han’s custody chain.Suppresses clean confession/protective cut options and raises debt.
hostileHan leaks, blackmails, or testifies against the production.Creates hostile witness pressure, public split, or inspector escalation.
capturedSponsor, archive, AI voice claimant, or inspector controls Han’s source copy.Future use requires rescue, exchange, counter-receipt, or suppression.
false_ownerA wrong claimant hardens around Han’s cut.Digital resurrection or memorial broadcast risks archive_fraud.

Assignable rites

The executable surface should expose equivalent rites or choices:

  • rite.offer_cutroom_source_custodian — meet Han through a live final-cut dispute.
  • rite.protect_final_take_chain — assign Han plus source proof to preserve chain of custody.
  • rite.publish_cutroom_receipt — use Han’s cutroom receipt to split sponsor/archive claims publicly.
  • rite.suppress_han_cut — remove Han’s source copy for short-term control at trust and inspection cost.
  • rite.exchange_cutroom_copy — bargain with sponsor, archive, inspector, or fan witness for custody access.
  • rite.recut_with_artist_refusal — protect an artist’s refusal or confession instead of cleaning the ending.

The protected-Han branch is carried forward by han-protect-final-take-chain and observed by han-protect-final-take-chain.lens. The unlock is not complete until that exact runtime rite resolves with scoped source, refusal, release-channel, and future-reader evidence.

Events

At least three stateful events should be reachable from the storyline:

  • event.cutroom_copy_spotted — Han is offered as custodian, witness, suspect, or leak source.
  • event.final_take_counterreceipt — Han’s source copy challenges a sponsor, archive, or AI voice claim.
  • event.sponsor_requests_clean_ending — sponsor pressure demands deletion, replacement, or branded grief.
  • event.inspector_demands_voice_token — inspector tests whether voice custody is lawful.
  • event.han_leaks_weathered_cut — hostile or unprotected Han releases a damaging cut.
  • event.black_screen_unlicensed_echo — failure path if the final voice airs without valid custody.

Required branch divergence

Branch A — Recruit and protect Han

The player recruits Han as cutroom source custodian and protects the final-take chain with a proof object such as unedited-live-vocal-master.

Expected outcome:

  • add route_asset.han_cutroom_source_custodian or han_protected_under_cutroom_oath;
  • voice_integrity +1 or public_receipt_legitimacy +1;
  • archive_debt -1 or custody_gap -1;
  • inspection_heat +1, sponsor_stop_loss_pressure +1, favor_debt +1, or artist_exhaustion +1.

Branch B — Public confession cut

The player uses Han’s copy to air refusal, confession, or anti-company evidence. The cut defeats a clean sponsor ending, but the broadcast becomes contested public reality.

Expected outcome:

  • unlock public_confession or equivalent ending on last-performance;
  • public_receipt_legitimacy +1 and fan_oxygen_resentment -1 or artist_trust +1;
  • sponsor_stop_loss_pressure +1, inspection_heat +1, or archive_debt +1.

Branch C — Protective snowing

The player asks Han to bury the public artifact while preserving the artist’s refusal or survival offstage. This is not a clean win: it protects the person while damaging public access.

Expected outcome:

  • unlock protective_snowing, artist_removed_from_public_stage, or equivalent state;
  • artist_trust +1 or voice_integrity +1;
  • public_receipt_legitimacy -1, fan_oxygen_resentment +1, or archive_debt +1.

Branch D — Suppress Han

The player removes Han’s copy, threatens the cutroom, or routes the ending through sponsor/AI control.

Expected outcome:

  • Han becomes missed, hostile, captured, or false_owner;
  • unlock or raise likelihood of stage_accident, digital_resurrection, archive_fraud, or black-screen echo;
  • artist_trust_loss +1, inspection_heat +1, archive_debt +1, or black_screen_slots +1.

Branch E — Counter-receipt hearing

A receipt or custody packet dispute pulls Han into receipt-packet-counterclaim and receipt-counterclaim-hearing. Han can verify the final-take chain, contradict a false owner, or become a hostile witness.

Expected outcome:

  • defended branch: receipt_legitimacy +1, custody_gap -1, and a nonzero cost;
  • public branch: receipt_publicly_split or fan_stub_witnesses_mobilized;
  • failure branch: false_custody_owner_established, han_hostile_witness, or captured_cutroom_copy.

Oracle assertions

A sibling executable lens should fail unless these claims are true in replay/data inspection:

  1. Primary links exist — The lens has populated observes and observed_through arrays that point to existing wiki surfaces.
  2. Han is stateful — Han exposes at least one durable route asset state beyond a prose mention.
  3. Han is assignable — At least one rite or choice accepts Han as editor, custodian, witness, suppressor, or source verifier.
  4. Recruitability and missability both matter — Recruited/protected Han unlocks a branch that missed/hostile/captured Han cannot unlock.
  5. Branch outcomes diverge — Public confession, protective snowing, suppression, and counter-receipt branches do not collapse into the same state/counter result.
  6. Success is costed — A positive final-cut outcome improves one custody/voice/public variable while increasing or spending another resource.
  7. Failure is durable — Suppressing, missing, capturing, or falsely owning Han changes future availability, difficulty, tags, or counters.
  8. No fixed-turn trigger — Canonical entry is based on contested source state and Han state, not a numbered turn.
  9. Evidence must be replay-derived — A passing implementation records session id, seed, offered choices, assigned cards, branch outcome, and state/counter deltas from game CLI history.

Progress metric

Progress is measured by branch observability, not content count.

  • 20%: Han has explicit route asset state and claimant factions.
  • 40%: an assignable final-cut or receipt rite accepts Han or records Han’s absence.
  • 60%: recruited/protected Han produces a costed positive custody or voice outcome.
  • 80%: missed/hostile/captured/false-owner Han produces a durable penalty or locked option.
  • 100%: at least two divergent replay branches prove recruited/protected versus missed/hostile/captured outcomes with visible state and counter deltas.

Non-goals

  • Not a fixed-turn branch.
  • Not bulk character volume.
  • Not a generic editor biography.
  • Not a methodology or governance page.
  • Not a free way to erase sponsor, archive, inspector, fan, or artist pressure.
  • Not handwritten evidence; the executable proof must come from game CLI replay/session history.
