K-404 Index Conflict Readback Lens / K-404 索引冲突回读 Lens
Primary Observation Link
This lens observes K-404 Index Conflict Readback, K-404 Custody Mismatch Index, and the character-facing K-404 Custody Mismatch Terminal route.
It is observed through K-404 Custody Mismatch Docket, K-404 Custody Return Hearing, K-404 Index Conflict Aftershock, and K-404 Custody Mismatch Terminal Lens.
Observable Promise
Storyteller must prove that a K-404 index conflict stays a route-asset custody row before downstream systems consume it. The character lens can prove whether K-404 is recruitable, protectable, suppressible, hostile, missed, or locked. This system lens proves that the index row itself preserves contested object, route asset state, terminal index state, claimant families, proof anchor, selected posture, branch cost, and future reader effect.
The lens fails if K-404 becomes a universal recovery terminal, if sponsor settlement counts as public truth, if an edit mask counts as lawful custody, or if a future route accepts the object without knowing which claimant was excluded and what cost was paid.

Docket Oracle
K-404 Custody Mismatch Docket or equivalent must record:
k404_index_conflict_row:
docket: storyteller.card.k404_custody_mismatch_docket.v1

Assignment Oracle
K-404 Custody Return Hearing or equivalent must require:
- docket;
- contested object;
- route asset state before;
- apparent claimant;
- rival claimant or explicit absence;
- terminal index state;
- K-404 character route state or explicit absence;
- proof anchor or explicit absence;
- handler or explicit absence;
- access support or explicit absence;
- selected posture;
- price;
- future reader or route effect.
Return object, use K-404, pay sponsor, or mask with edit are invalid unless the assignment mutates terminal posture, object state, and future route acceptance.
Branch Oracle
A satisfying implementation proves these non-equivalent branch families.
Branch A - Verify Return
Expected evidence:
selected_posture: verify_return;- custody gap, false owner, or route block decreases;
- terminal exposure, inspection heat, handler burden, or future claim cost rises;
- future route accepts only with scar, public-only, lawful-only, or costed route state.
Branch B - Split Record
Expected evidence:
selected_posture: split_record;- K-404 preserves two incompatible custody paths;
- source ambiguity, archive debt, public distrust, or reality drift rises;
- future route must choose public, lawful, editor, sponsor, claimant, or recovery side.
Branch C - Inspector Quarantine
Expected evidence:
selected_posture: inspector_quarantine;- unsafe return or false-owner pressure falls;
- current route becomes delayed, blocked, costlier, or recovery-only;
- future reader requires lawful appeal, quarantine release, or facility recovery.
Branch D - Public Notice
Expected evidence:
selected_posture: public_notice;- private capture is blocked or public legitimacy improves;
- witness exposure, sponsor pressure, pirate heat, or inspection heat rises;
- public reader opens while lawful, sponsor, or route-asset reader stays costlier.
Branch E - Sponsor Settlement
Expected evidence:
selected_posture: sponsor_settlement;- budget, slot, or stop-loss pressure improves;
- contract capture, public receipt distrust, artist-boundary risk, or future blackmail rises;
- public or artist route becomes costlier, barred, or surchargeable.
Branch F - Edit Mask
Expected evidence:
selected_posture: edit_mask;- targeting, continuity, or black-screen risk drops;
- edit debt, source ambiguity, archive debt, or future fraud cost rises;
- later proof requires reveal, checksum, public notice, or lawful appeal.
Branch G - Suppress Terminal Or Abandon
Expected evidence:
selected_posture: suppress_terminal | abandon;- K-404 becomes suppressed, hostile, missed, locked, or explicit absence;
- K-404 Index Conflict Aftershock fires or is armed;
- future route is blocked, hostile, split-required, recovery-required, public-notice-required, lawful-appeal-required, or recovery-only.
No branch may make one object clean for public, lawful, sponsor, archive, editor, route-asset, and ending readers at once.
Default Oracle
When the row is hidden, under-proven, falsely returned, captured by one claimant, or suppresses K-404, the aftershock must record:
k404_index_conflict_aftershock:
event: storyteller.event.k404_index_conflict_aftershock.v1
source_docket: storyteller.card.k404_custody_mismatch_docket.v1
source_rite: storyteller.rite.k404_custody_return_hearing.v1
cause: under_proven | rival_narration | terminal_suppressed | conflicting_route_log | no_handler
terminal_posture_after: indexed | public_witness | suppressed | hostile_witness | locked | unclaimed_archive | equivalent
route_asset_state_after: captured | false_owner | hostile | public_only | lawful_only | editor_only | sponsor_only | blocked | recovery_only | returned_with_scar | equivalent
future_route_effect: blocked | costlier | hostile | split_required | recovery_required | public_notice_required | lawful_appeal_required | equivalent
claimant_gate_or_absence: <gate or explicit_absence>
counter_deltas_min: 3The lens fails if aftershock only changes prose, terminal mood, or warning text without mutating future route availability.
Future Reader Oracle
A future reader must consume the index state. Valid readers include facility access, route-asset custody, evidence carryover, broadcast asset provenance, quote-bearing return, quiet-return archive, ending scar, lawful appeal, public receipt, sponsor gate, editor continuity, and recovery-only route.
The reader must distinguish at least four of:
- verified with scar;
- split-required;
- quarantine or lawful appeal required;
- public-notice-required;
- sponsor-only;
- editor-only;
- terminal-suppressed;
- hostile or locked terminal;
- blocked or recovery-only.
Progress Metric
k404IndexConflictReadbackProgress = 0..10:
0: K-404 index conflict is not a system surface.1: a state-triggered mismatch row can open.2: contested object and route asset state are visible.3: terminal index and K-404 character route state or absence are visible.4: at least two claimant families or meaningful explicit absence are recorded.5: docket records proof anchor and default risk.6: hearing assigns handler, support, posture, price, and future reader.7: constructive branches diverge with relief, cost, and future effect.8: suppress/abandon arms aftershock.9: downstream reader consumes verified/split/quarantined/public/sponsor/editor/suppressed states differently.10: no branch grants clean universal recovery.
Non-goals
Not a K-404 character recruitment lens, random lost-property table, fixed-turn terminal scene, clean recovery coupon, or broad facility-governance page. The lens only passes when the index conflict row survives into future route consumption with costed, divergent outcomes.
