Caption Translation Appeal Custody / 字幕译本申诉保管机制

Caption translation custody is a state-pressure mechanic for records that will be read again by appeal panels, public delegates, and route assets.

The row fails if it stores only caption accepted, subtitle corrected, translation done, or public record clean.

The mechanic fails if a translation becomes clean because time passed, because enough caption cards exist, or because the dashboard is green. It must preserve a concrete source row, translator, disputed phrase, harmed reader, and future reader.

Branch Contract

Certify Narrow Caption

The player certifies only one named caption row. Relief can include appeal acceptance, public clarity, or route continuity. Cost must leave sponsor pressure, translator custody, or public receipt debt visible.

Publish Bilingual Receipt

The source line and sponsor line are published together. Public proof improves, but producer-license pressure, sponsor heat, or lawful appeal risk rises.

Quarantine Sponsor Translation

The sponsor caption cannot be cited until translator custody and proof anchor are named. Current route progress slows or blocks.

Route Asset Scar Caption

The route may proceed with an explicit caption scar. Future route readers must pay the scar rather than treating the caption as clean.

Bargain For Localization Delay

The player buys deadline relief, but the future appeal panel receives a delay cost and sponsor bargain debt.

Mistranslation Default

If the sponsor caption is consumed as clean record while translation custody is hidden, Mistranslation Default fires or arms.

Counter Contract

Every branch must mutate at least three durable surfaces:

• one relief surface: narrow_caption_receipt, public_receipt_visible, translation_quarantined, route_asset_continues, or localization_delay_bought;
• one cost surface: sponsor_heat, producer_license_pressure, route_asset_wait, lawful_appeal_pressure, or sponsor_bargain_debt;
• one future state: appeal_panel_accepts_scoped_caption_receipt, public_recap_unlocks_counterclaim, archive_index_requires_translator_name, route_gate_reads_caption_scar, appeal_panel_reopens_delay_cost, or appeal_panel_reopens_with_translation_penalty.

Non-Goals

Not a translation quality score, accessibility checklist, localization queue, or caption latency duplicate. The mechanic only observes later consumption of a disputed translation row.
