Replacement Saint Liability / 替代圣女责任

Replacement Saint Liability is the management mechanic for a dangerous production shortcut: using a fragile newcomer as the legal, emotional, or sponsor-facing substitute for an unstable saint slot.

It deepens Mu Ning without turning her into background tragedy. If the player lets the broadcast name her as the replacement body for an existing promise, Broadcast Reality can harden that name into liability. If the player protects her, she becomes a route asset with testimony, not a free follower.

Playable question

When audience stability, sponsor pressure, or schedule salvage demands a substitute saint, does the producer protect the newcomer, let the company consume her, publish the coercion, or miss the window until the substitute identity becomes route law?

Every answer must move at least one relief counter and at least one harm counter.

State-triggered entry

Offer this mechanic when all of the following are true:

1. a saint-facing or public-faith broadcast promise is unstable, such as Li Xingtong continuity, an audience floor breach, a sponsor relief segment, a memorial edit, or a blackout-scarred slot;
2. Mu Ning is available, unprotected, drafted, exposed, or already carrying glass_newcomer_liability;
3. at least two claimant surfaces can benefit from substitution: sponsor desk, schedule board, inspector authority, saint continuity desk, fan public, editor custody, or archive bureau;
4. at least one playable object can alter the outcome: producer license authority, broadcast slot contract, proof receipt, cutroom proof, public witness, manager shield, or inspector seal.

This mechanic is state-triggered. It never opens from a fixed numbered trigger.

Core states

public_coercion_witness	The coercion is made public before it becomes clean law.	Public legitimacy or fan trust improves while inspector/sponsor heat rises.
glass_sample_extracted	Her cracked voice/body becomes a reusable sample.	Future saint slots become easier but route trauma, voice risk, or archive fraud rises.
replacement_identity_hardened	The broadcast, docket, or edited cut makes the substitute identity durable.	Later rescue must pay higher legal, archive, or fan oxygen cost.
newcomer_window_lost	No credible protection, proof, or witness is assigned.	Mu Ning becomes missed, captured, hostile, or unavailable as a recruitable route asset.

Branch families

Branch A — Protective debut

The player assigns lawful authority and a protective handler before the substitute claim hardens.

Expected outcomes:

• set protected_route_asset or newcomer_protection_pending;
• improve protected_newcomer_status, public_receipt_legitimacy, or voice_integrity;
• increase sponsor_stop_loss_pressure, schedule_slots_occupied, inspection_heat, or saint_continuity_gap.

Branch B — Sponsor replacement package

The player accepts a clean sponsor or schedule package that names Mu Ning as a safe substitute.

Expected outcomes:

• set sponsor_substitution_contract or replacement_identity_hardened;
• reduce audience_churn, broadcast_floor_breach, or sponsor_stop_loss_pressure;
• increase muning_fracture, contract_capture, public_receipt_distrust, or glass_sample_debt.

Branch C — Public coercion witness

The player lets a historian, fan receipt, editor proof, or pirate relay make the substitution visible as coercion rather than clean promotion.

Expected outcomes:

• set public_coercion_witness;
• improve public_receipt_legitimacy, fan_oxygen_balance, or anti_sacrifice_route_pressure;
• increase inspection_heat, sponsor_stop_loss_pressure, relay_custody_risk, or schedule_pressure.

Branch D — Inspector containment

The player asks an inspector, archive seal, or custody docket to quarantine the substitute identity before it becomes enforceable.

Expected outcomes:

• set newcomer_protection_pending or reduce replacement_identity_hardened;
• improve custody_gap, archive_signature_legitimacy, or protected_newcomer_status;
• increase inspection_heat, archive_debt, schedule_slots_occupied, or artist_refusal_risk.

Branch E — Missed protection / extracted sample

The player lacks authority, chooses silence, or lets the clean cut air without proof.

Expected outcomes:

• set glass_sample_extracted, replacement_identity_hardened, or newcomer_window_lost;
• muning_fracture, sacrifice_pressure, voice_integrity_risk, archive_fraud, or fan_oxygen_resentment worsens;
• later recruitment becomes locked, hostile, or more expensive.

Required inputs

A substitution-liability action must declare:

• one broadcast or schedule pressure;
• one claimant trying to benefit from substitution;
• Mu Ning’s current availability state;
• one authority, proof, handler, or explicit absence;
• one intended branch: protect, package, witness, quarantine, or default.

Valid existing surfaces include Broadcast Slot Contracts, Audience Stability Floor, Route Assets and Custody, Orion Breath, Inspector Rhee Archive, and Route Matrix.

Counter contract

Every resolution must mutate at least three of:

• muning_fracture
• protected_newcomer_status
• sacrifice_pressure
• replacement_identity_hardened
• glass_sample_debt
• voice_integrity_risk
• public_receipt_legitimacy
• public_receipt_distrust
• audience_churn
• broadcast_floor_breach

At least one counter must show immediate operational relief. At least one must preserve moral, legal, route, or faction cost.

Non-goals

• Not a generic protection scene.
• Not a fixed numbered trigger.
• Not a clean recruit button.
• Not a free way to satisfy sponsor and audience pressure.
• Not a terminal ending; it must change later offers, route tags, costs, counters, or Mu Ning’s availability.
