Lin Xi Future Broadcast Witness replaces the old seed-only appearance line. Lin Xi is no longer a fame-gated mystery cameo. She is a character witness whose availability, protection, missability, and recruitment decide whether a future broadcast can be used by black-box, route, public, lawful, archive, sponsor, or broadcast-reality readers.

The line asks: when the player hears a future signal, who is allowed to turn that signal into proof, and what happens to Lin Xi if the signal is consumed without her?

Why this is the next useful expansion

The current mesh is strong at legal memory, precedent recall, proof afterlife, and scarred endings. The thin gap was older character seed content: Lin Xi existed mostly as future_broadcast_heard plus an ending pointer.

That is dangerous because it lets future broadcast behave like a clean flag. This line makes the flag a route object:

• the signal has a carrier;
• Lin Xi has encounter, witness, miss, recruit, hostile, and recovery states;
• the black-box route reads witness state before accepting the signal;
• default erasure becomes durable instead of flavor.

Valid contradiction surfaces include black-box recording conflict, broadcast-reality drift, blackbox patch custody, continuity afteruse, ending scar, asset provenance split, or an explicit absence that is itself contested.

The storyline must not open from fixed turn count, day/week interval, fame number, raw content count, chapter quota, dashboard state, or generic mystery escalation.

Storyline spine

Beat 1 — The future broadcast stops being a clean flag

A future-broadcast row exists. It points toward a possible route, proof bridge, ending eligibility, public receipt, lawful annex, or broadcast-reality contradiction.

The signal is not enough. The game asks who can witness it and what it contradicts.

Beat 2 — Lin Xi becomes reachable or explicitly absent

Lin Xi may be reachable, protected, proxy-only, already missed, hostile, captured, or explicitly absent. The state must be recorded before the signal is consumed.

Examples:

• Lin Xi recognizes a phrase that did not air in the current version;
• the black-box fragment contains a voice gap that only Lin Xi can place;
• Baiya can checksum the patch, but not explain the future memory;
• archive readers can file the signal, but cannot prove Lin Xi consented to absence;
• sponsor or management readers want the signal hidden because it reopens a clean report.

Beat 3 — The docket names the reader

Create or update 林夕未来广播案卷.

The docket must name the future reader and intended use before resolution. Valid readers include public, lawful, archive, sponsor, management, route asset, broadcast reality, and black-box ending reader.

Beat 4 — The interview assigns witness boundary

Run 林夕信号问询.

The player may keep Lin Xi private, publish an echo, convert the signal into checksum, quarantine it, allow sponsor or management silence, recruit her as a route ally, or default.

Beat 5 — Future play consumes the witness state

The line is complete only when a later route, proof bridge, black-box ending, broadcast-reality reader, or archive/public/lawful/sponsor reader consumes the result.

A clean unlock is never valid. The future signal must remain scoped, costly, contradicted, quarantined, hostile, or recovery-only.

The recruit window closes when the signal is filed as clean absence, sponsor silence hardens, archive quarantine is consumed without release, or the black-box ending reader consumes the signal without a witness boundary.

Recovery after miss is allowed only through visible scar: late interview, public echo, lawful checksum, route-ally protection debt, or hostile-future-reader contradiction path.

Character and desk hooks

The storyline is missed when implementation:

• treats future_broadcast_heard as a clean flag;
• opens Lin Xi from fixed timing, fame count, chapter quota, or raw count;
• gives the black-box ending a clean unlock from a single signal;
• lets public echo count as lawful proof;
• lets lawful checksum count as public truth;
• lets sponsor silence count as consent or absence;
• lets archive quarantine become a clean ending route;
• hides the excluded reader;
• produces no future reader, route, ending, or broadcast-reality effect.

Recovery requires scarred state:

• late private interview with handler burden;
• public echo with witness exposure;
• lawful checksum with archive/edit debt;
• archive release with route delay;
• route ally recruitment with protection debt;
• hostile future reader and contradiction-pending route.
