Branch affordances

The ledger must expose at least five branch families in a full implementation:

• enforce original boundary;
• lawful annex conversion;
• public acknowledgement annex;
• sponsor repackage with discoverability;
• checksum repair;
• pirate trace quarantine;
• burn or suppress copy;
• boundary breach default.

Reader consequences

• Archive accepts a source row only if its boundary and proof carrier survive.
• Fan public may accept acknowledgement while rejecting lawful silence or sponsor cleanup.
• Sponsor can buy distribution only if discoverability and future surcharge survive.
• Cutroom may use checksum repair but cannot turn it into raw custody.
• Pirate relay may expose suppressed grief but keeps infringement scar.
• Broadcast reality stabilizes only when the claimed use matches a visible boundary.
• Route assets read the residue as a gate, not as free permission.

Non-goals
