Every slot is required and must contain an in-hand accepted card. The event removes the other branch candidates. The core guard compares the selected option’s required branch flag and exact slot-card map with the assignments; a mixed contract/custody pair, virtual card, missing option, or aliased claimant fails.

Four ordered branches

0 — recruit_rights_preserving_compliance_patron

Records shen_mansheng.state.rights_preserving_patron_recruited, retains the actual Shen card, and grants route_asset.shen_mansheng_compliance_patron. The no-custody receipt remains visible to every future reader. This is the only recruitment branch.

1 — bind_public_countersigned_budget

Records shen_mansheng.state.public_countersigned_counterparty. Shen remains cooperative through a public countersignature and escrow boundary, but is not recruited and grants no route asset.

2 — accept_full_company_cleanup_capture

Records shen_mansheng.state.toxic_company_cleanup_patron, hardens cleanup/capture pressure, and grants no route asset. It does not delete Li Deng, rule on personhood, or convert the company claim into lawful custody.

3 — refuse_and_antagonize_company_patron

Records shen_mansheng.state.antagonized_missed, sets storyteller_shen_mansheng_antagonized, removes ordinary recruitment access, and grants no route asset. The refusal receipt is evidence of the player’s refusal; it does not author a subject’s consent or refusal.
