Iris Vale Storyline

Bound character: Iris Vale

Iris Vale is a deceased performer whose memorial voice pack remains commercially useful and legally dangerous. She is not a cutscene memory. She is a route asset whose voice can move fan oxygen, sponsor risk, inspector heat, archive custody, public grief, and broadcast reality.

The character promise is precise: Iris cannot be recruited as a living companion, but the right to use, protect, distort, suppress, or expose her voice is playable.

Main playable arc

Iris’s deeper content now lives in Iris Vale 纪念声权验讫线.

That arc binds:

Playable pressure

The card card.iris_vale_memorial_voice starts disputed. Broadcasting it without Mara Fen’s chain-of-custody key, an explicit absence record, or a scoped probate boundary can trigger false probate, echo infringement, grief suppression, sponsor capture, cutroom false checksum, or pirate untraced echo.

A lawful resolution turns Iris into a licensed memorial broadcast only for readers that accept lawful custody. A public vigil resolution can stabilize fan oxygen while increasing sponsor or legal pressure. A sponsor legacy resolution can save the slot while poisoning public receipt. An editor checksum can protect continuity while creating source ambiguity. A pirate echo can make suppressed grief audible while making lawful recovery harder. Quarantine protects the voice but costs route access and fan oxygen.

Mara Fen dependency

Mara Fen Storyline is the custodian-side pressure. Iris’s storyline must always read Mara as one of:

mara_fen_state:
  - neutral
  - recruitable
  - protected_custodian
  - suppressed
  - hostile_witness
  - missing
  - explicit_absence

Mara does not need to be present for Iris content to continue, but her absence must be recorded and must affect proof, default risk, or recovery cost.

Route asset contract

Iris’s memorial voice can become:

  • protected by custodian chain;
  • licensed for lawful memorial use;
  • public through vigil;
  • sponsor-gated by legacy package;
  • checksum-bound by editor mask;
  • pirated as scarred public echo;
  • quarantined until stronger chain exists;
  • suppressed with fan/public debt;
  • false-owned or recovery-only after default.

No route may treat Iris’s death as clean consent.

Recovery is allowed only with scar: reopen probate, protect or confront Mara Fen, publish public acknowledgement, file lawful annex, unwind sponsor copy, attach checksum correction, or quarantine the voice and accept fan oxygen resentment.

Non-goals

  • Not a resurrection path.
  • Not a living recruit arc for Iris.
  • Not a generic music license.
  • Not a clean memorial flashback.
  • Not a fixed-turn trigger.
  • Not valid if all readers accept the same voice use for free.
