Editor Labor Capacity and Refusal / 剪辑劳动容量与拒绝线

Storyteller already knows how to prioritize a cut and how to recruit an editor. It still needs a separate pressure line for a more human question: after one edit has consumed labor, can a named editor safely and voluntarily carry the next assignment?

The first concrete producer is Mina Cut Last-Air Editor. Mina’s character line proves her recruitability, refusal, hostility, and missability. This pressure storyline owns what happens when later production systems try to spend those person-states as edit capacity.

Primary playable question

When two or more production obligations need an edit, patch, checksum, source copy, or supervision pass, which named human can carry the selected assignment — and what happens when that person refuses, requires rest, needs a substitute, is captured by a reader, becomes hostile, or burns out?

The answer must preserve all of the following:

  • the completed source edit;
  • the named editor who performed it;
  • numeric capacity and burnout after that work;
  • current consent, limit, or refusal;
  • substitute coverage or explicit absence;
  • protection, rest, or recovery plan;
  • the next edit demand and its reader;
  • person-state after the decision;
  • the selected edit state and future route effect.

An editor card in hand is not enough. A prior successful edit is not repeat consent. A route asset is not unlimited labor.

Ownership boundary

This line is deliberately narrower than the systems around it:

  • Cutroom Priority Queue decides which cut row receives a scarce edit lane. This line decides whether the named person assigned to that row can and will carry it.
  • Production Triage Desk assigns tickets, lanes, and handlers. This line supplies the editor’s current person-state instead of letting generic handler presence imply availability.
  • Han Cutroom owns source-copy and final-cut custody. This line grants neither final-cut ownership nor source-copy authority.
  • Lyra’s voice and memorial routes retain their own consent and custody. Editor labor cannot authorize either.
  • Witness Carrier Discharge governs later reuse of a completed service. This line governs capacity and consent before the next edit is assigned.

State-triggered entry

Open the storyline only when all conditions below are visible:

  1. a named editor completed a source edit or supervision task;
  2. that work changed numeric editor_capacity, editor_burnout, or an equivalent person-cost counter;
  3. a named future edit demand exists and has a reader or route;
  4. current labor consent, limit, or refusal is visible;
  5. substitute coverage and a protection/rest/recovery plan are visible or explicitly absent;
  6. the next assignment can mutate route access, edit debt, worker safety, sponsor capture, archive scope, hostility, or recovery state.

The line never opens from a fixed turn, day/week interval, raw edit count, card count, dashboard state, or lens-health result.

Storyline spine

Beat 1 — The first edit spends a body

The source rite records a successful edit and numeric burnout. A blocked cut cannot inherit completion, route progress, or permission to open labor review.

For the first implementation, rite.last_air_edit assigns editor.mina_cut, asset.lyra_voiceprint, and fan.vigil_choir. The successful branch opens Mina’s later labor state; the blocked branch does not.

Beat 2 — A later reader requests another edit

The next demand may come from a memorial cut, sponsor recap, archive supervision request, cutroom priority row, enforcement patch, liability collateral call, insolvency creditor, or production triage ticket.

The request is placed beside the earlier assignment. It cannot silently convert the first edit into standing consent.

Beat 3 — Capacity review changes person-state

The first playable review is Mina Cut Last-Air Labor Review. Its branches separate protected recruitment, refusal, substitution, public labor evidence, sponsor capture, archive limitation, hostility, and burnout.

Beat 4 — The downstream consumer reads the result

The selected production row must consume both numeric state and person-state:

  • capacity without consent cannot staff the row;
  • consent without capacity requires delay, rest, or substitute coverage;
  • a supervising route asset cannot be treated as unlimited editing labor;
  • sponsor-only or archive-only state narrows the reader;
  • hostile or burned-out state removes the actual editor from assignment;
  • recovery-only state cannot be converted back into a living recruit by citing the burnout record.

Beat 5 — The skipped body narrates the default

If production suppresses refusal or forces the edit, the editor becomes a hostile witness or a named burnout failure. The route may still move temporarily, but it inherits worker-safety debt, edit debt, future route cost, and a recovery requirement.

Downstream consumer contract

Every later reader must preserve the labor row instead of checking only for an editor card or generic edit lane.

ConsumerWhat it may decideLabor fact it must not erase
Cutroom Priority Queuewhich version receives the lanethe selected editor’s consent, capacity, burnout, rest, and substitute state
Production Triage Deskwhich ticket receives a handlera present editor can still be refused, exhausted, captured, or recovery-only
Enforcement Mandate Exhaustionwhich valid order receives an editorial patchmandate validity does not create voluntary editor labor
Faction Liability Underwritingwhether edit capacity is posted as collateralcollateral creates labor debt and cannot grant universal authority
Broadcast Insolvency Ledgerwhich editor or proof creditor is paidunpaid rest, protection, and worker-safety debt remain callable
Witness Carrier Dischargewhether an earlier service may be reusedcompleted service history is not repeat consent or clean capacity

At least two downstream consumers must be live before this pressure line is considered broadly implemented. Mina’s four current replays are the first concrete source proof, not permission to mark every consumer integrated.

Recruitability, missability, and recovery

Recruitment is scoped to one named edit or supervision task and requires visible protection or rest. The editor remains recruitable only while the actual card and a valid person-state remain available.

The editor is missable when suppression removes them into hostility or a forced edit removes them into burnout. A ledger row, voice asset, checksum, or burnout record cannot substitute for the person.

Recovery must preserve the scar. It may reopen a protected hearing, name a substitute, pay rest and safety debt, or limit future supervision. It must not delete failure.editor_burnout, restore universal capacity, or treat coerced work as consent.

Current executable evidence

Four existing Game CLI replays provide the first source-backed proof:

  • mina-cut-last-air-editor.recruit.replay.json — protected recruitment, capacity 1, burnout 2, Mina remains in hand;
  • mina-cut-last-air-editor.refuse.replay.json — protected refusal, capacity 1 is not assignable, substitute required;
  • mina-cut-last-air-editor.hostile.replay.json — refusal suppression removes Mina into hostile witness state;
  • mina-cut-last-air-editor.burnout.replay.json — forced work resolves failure.editor_burnout, burnout 6, safety debt 4, and recovery-only loss.
