Residue Clinic Custody / 余物诊所羁押线
Unauthorized memorial residue is consuming medical slots. Fever, voice loss, burns, and signature hallucinations are already real enough to require treatment, but every desk that helps wants to rename the injury: sponsor repair, archive object, fan testimony, audit exhibit, or program merchandise.
This storyline binds the existing residue-clinic runtime into one observable custody arc. The player opens the clinic, identifies the temperature chain, records treatment consent, confronts the sponsor bandage claim, protects or exposes the queue, hears Luo Ji’s burn testimony, chooses where residue goes, and signs a discharge that later readers can audit.
The clinic answers a narrow question: can a person receive treatment without the treatment record, bodily residue, or pain becoming a transferable entertainment right?

Rite 01 requires that flag plus the exact in-hand witness and archive-record assignments; the clinic cannot open from a blank state or act as generic free healing.
Four evidence rows
The first four rites create four non-equivalent rows. They remain separately readable through discharge.
| Row | Runtime card | What it may prove | What it cannot prove |
|---|---|---|---|
| Queue | card-storyteller-fever-ticket-roll | that a treatment queue and pain-ordering pressure exist | diagnosis, consent, identity, or oxygen entitlement |
| Thermal chain | card-storyteller-residue-thermograph | a temperature link among residue, body, bed, or object | bodily identity, personhood, death, or ownership |
| Treatment consent | card-storyteller-ash-consent-tape | scoped consent or refusal for the recorded treatment encounter | merchandise, reenactment, voice, archive, or memorial permission |
| Sponsor claim | card-storyteller-clean-bandage-contract | the sponsor’s proposed repair and ownership language | patient consent, medical necessity, or lawful ownership of pain |
A complete clinic readback must preserve all four exact rows. A missing row fails completion, and no row substitutes for another.
Eight-beat ordered spine

The order is strict. A later rite cannot reconstruct an earlier evidence row, silently mark an earlier beat complete, or use a recruited character as a substitute for the missing row.
Seven care and disclosure postures
Rites 01–06 and 08 each expose two care/disclosure postures. Rite 07 is excluded from this family because it resolves custody rather than publicity or patient protection.
Public record
The injury becomes replayable public evidence. Public visibility may improve answerability and influence, but it raises exposure, audit, sponsor, or archive pressure. It does not turn the patient’s treatment into merchandise or public-domain material.
Protected patient
The clinic prioritizes the person still in pain and narrows who may read the record. Protection may improve trust or favor, but it cannot erase the queue, sponsor claim, custody decision, or later review. Protected does not mean sponsor-owned, white-glove-owned, or permanently secret.
The profiles may diverge at each of those seven beats, but a replay must retain all seven exact posture selections plus rite 07’s exact custody disposition. A single generic clinic_complete flag is insufficient.
Four pressure and default events
| Event | Opens after | Required observable conflict |
|---|---|---|
storyteller-event-residue-fever-line | thermal triage | pain reaches the stage door and must become fan-medical record or contained pressure |
storyteller-event-residue-sponsor-audit | night-queue beat plus bandage offer | sponsor contract attempts to cover the treatment-consent row |
storyteller-event-residue-queue-riot | return/quarantine choice | the queue becomes mutual-aid evidence or a contained/hostile crowd account |
storyteller-event-residue-discharge-review | discharge signoff | thermograph, consent, sponsor claim, and custody result are read together |
Each event must remain reachable from its source beat, select exactly one response, and leave a durable flag/counter change. All four may feed the later Residue Audit; none may retroactively rewrite treatment consent.
Xi Sheng and Luo Ji remain independent
Xi Sheng owns queue numbering and pain-priority custody. Luo Ji owns one named burn-attribution row. They are adjacent readers, not a combined clinic authority.
- Xi can be recruited, protected, published, captured, compelled, quarantined, suppressed, hostile, or missed without silently recruiting or resolving Luo.
- Luo can be recruited, protected, assigned to copyright or medical attribution, split treatment from merchandising, captured, suppressed, hostile, or missed without rewriting Xi’s queue.
- Recruiting either character never grants the other route asset.
- Missing either character remains a durable absence or recovery-only state; the core clinic may continue, but the lost testimony cannot be recreated by the other character.
Duan Wei begins later and only when rite 07 selects return_to_fan_medical_custody. She owns the returned fan-medical ledger’s named-patient-key custody and discharge-reader scope; she cannot reorder Xi Sheng’s queue, reinterpret Luo Ji’s burn attribution, reopen rite 07, or turn the ash consent tape into broader permission.
Clean-bin miss is downstream only
Residue-Clinic Clean-Bin Specimen Miss is adjacent ST-SCALE-04 runtime only: it observes one later disposal fork and is not a ninth clinic beat or an implementation of rite 07. A photograph can prove the company’s disposal act, and a no-photo state can prove that custody was lost. Neither branch satisfies the full clinic storyline, reconstructs the four evidence rows, recruits Xi or Luo, or authorizes discharge.

The clinic may record queue order, thermal observation, treatment consent/refusal, sponsor claim language, named burn attribution, custody disposition, and discharge review. It may not determine or grant:
- identity, personhood, or death;
- voice ownership or voice-use permission;
- archive or memorial ownership, custody, or license;
- universal medical authority, diagnosis, prescription, or treatment permission;
- universal broadcast, reenactment, merchandising, likeness, or future-use permission.
Treatment consent is never merchandising consent. Public evidence is not public ownership. Protected care is not sponsor or archive capture.
Non-goals
- Not a universal hospital simulator.
- Not a generic oxygen-allocation system.
- Not a rewrite of Xi Sheng’s or Luo Ji’s character packet.
- Not satisfied by the clean-bin miss alone.
- Not permission to infer a person’s identity, status, rights, or wishes from residue.
