Archive Voice Custody

Archive voice custody defines who may place a living, deceased, reconstructed, or memorial voice asset into Storyteller broadcast. A voice asset is playable only when its custody state is visible: licensed, disputed, unauthorized, seized, suppressed, quarantined, or public_domain_misclaimed.

The system exists to keep memorial use from becoming flavor text. A producer may stabilize ratings with a voice pack, but each use must touch Fan Oxygen, legal pressure, inspector heat, sponsor clearance, public grief, or an archive witness.

Mira’s aligned body/voice route continues through Mira Lawful Final Performer, where the lawful custody result must still purchase recovery support, name a broadcast slot and future reader, and preserve consent or refusal. Its lens rejects any clean finale that treats alignment as universal afteruse permission.

State-triggered custody docket

A voice-custody docket opens when a disputed voice object is about to be aired, preserved, memorialized, reconstructed, sold, archived, quarantined, or used as proof.

Eligible surfaces include:

The docket is opened by custody state and claimant pressure, not by a fixed numbered turn.

Custody states

StateMeaningRequired pressure
licensedThe voice has explicit rights, consent, or archive proof.A token, receipt, witness, or cost must be visible.
disputedMultiple claimants can plausibly control the voice.Sponsor, archive, editor, AI claimant, artist, or public witness pressure is live.
unauthorizedThe voice is used without a valid chain.Legal pressure, inspector heat, archive fraud, or black-screen risk rises.
seizedInspector or archive authority removes the voice from normal use.Recovery requires appeal, exchange, counter-receipt, or hostile branch.
suppressedThe player hides the voice without lawful resolution.Public grief, fan oxygen, or archive debt worsens.
quarantinedThe player contains the voice while keeping custody legible.Fraud risk falls, but grief/sponsor/schedule pressure rises.
public_domain_misclaimedA false owner claims the voice as free or already captured.Counter-audit or receipt proof is required to avoid durable fraud.

Inspector Rhee audit slice

Inspector Rhee Archive is the character surface that tests whether voice use has lawful custody. When unresolved voice custody meets claimant pressure, Rhee can demand a voice_rights_token, accept receipt proof, grant a limited audit shield, quarantine an echo, seize a disputed copy, or become missed after a false owner hardens.

This slice is observed by Inspector Rhee Voice Token Audit Lens.

Required outcomes:

  • lawful use improves custody_clarity, voice_token_integrity, or voice_integrity, while spending proof or raising another pressure;
  • counter-audit can contest sponsor/archive/AI false ownership through receipts or source proof;
  • quarantine prevents fraud but worsens fan oxygen, public grief, sponsor, or schedule pressure;
  • forged, suppressed, or tokenless use creates archive_fraud, black_screen_slots, hostile seizure, or locked future choices.

Unauthorized echo slice

Iris Vale is a deceased route asset whose memorial voice pack can enter Unauthorized Memorial Drop. Mara Fen holds the chain-of-custody key. If the player uses the voice without clearance, Echo Infringement Notice can fire when unauthorized voice use becomes visible through broadcast, audit, receipt dispute, sponsor relief, or black-screen recovery state.

Required branches

  • license the memorial voice and reduce legal pressure while taking editor, inspector, sponsor, or public cost;
  • quarantine or suppress the voice and pay fan oxygen, public grief, sponsor, or schedule cost;
  • counterfeit clearance for short sponsor gain while increasing inspector heat, archive fraud, or black-screen risk;
  • recruit, protect, suppress, or miss Mara Fen as a custody witness;
  • satisfy, bargain with, counter-audit through, suppress, or miss Inspector Rhee as a voice-token auditor.

Pressure contract

Voice custody can make a broadcast safer, but it cannot make grief free. Every branch must move at least one visible pressure surface: voice_integrity, voice_token_integrity, custody_clarity, archive_fraud, legal_pressure, inspector_heat, fan_oxygen, public_grief_stability, sponsor_stop_loss_pressure, or black_screen_slots.
