Lan Qiao / 蓝桥 — Off-Station Transfer Clerk

Lan Qiao is the temporary clerk at D-17’s off-station transfer gate. She knows who wrote a trainee into the lost-property list, which origin and departure gates were used, which receiving desk accepted the handoff, and where the transfer record stops naming a custodian.

Her source card, card-storyteller-lan-qiao, makes her persistent, recruitable, and missable. storyteller-rite-d17-lost-and-found-night introduces the actual Lan Qiao card, opens storyteller_lanqiao_shift_available, and exposes either encountered_person_first_transfer or encountered_company_cleanup_transfer. Her later review decides whether she remains protected, becomes a narrow transfer custodian, is captured by the company, turns hostile, or is missed when the shift log is scrubbed.

Identity and authority

Lan Qiao is a transfer-list and handoff witness. She can identify:

• the author and source branch of one transfer row;
• a named subject or explicit absence;
• the origin, departure, and receiving gates;
• the reclassification label applied to the subject;
• the terminal access entry and handoff receipt;
• the receiving custodian or explicit absence;
• whether acknowledgement or refusal was recorded;
• the claimant and future reader trying to consume the row.

She cannot decide that the subject is a person or property, author consent or refusal, control Li Deng’s voiceprint, speak for Huo Qian, operate K-404’s protocol, grant Shen Mansheng company custody, or open the station. Recruitment preserves evidence about one transfer chain; it does not grant universal route access.

Lan Qiao is 蓝桥, stable runtime card card-storyteller-lan-qiao, and state namespace lan_qiao.*.

She is not Lin Qiao / 林乔, the chain runner. No Lan Qiao card, flag, counter, route asset, storyline, lens, or replay may use the lin_qiao namespace or inherit Lin Qiao’s delivery authority.

Authority boundaries

• Li Deng retains personhood, support-light, voiceprint, and avatar custody questions.
• K-404 retains terminal and lost-property protocol authority.
• Huo Qian retains fan testimony and witness-custody authority.
• Shen Mansheng remains a company claimant; a claim is not lawful custody.
