Audience Stability Index
Audience Stability Index is the assignable pressure card for 观众稳定性下限. It records whether a broadcast is still legible as entertainment or has fallen into churn, sponsor capture, public contradiction, pirate attention, or schedule compression.
The card does not measure audience happiness. It stores the current claim about why the public is still watching and who paid the cost.
Card states
| State | Meaning | Play effect |
|---|---|---|
floor_met | The active broadcast promise remains stable enough to continue. | No forced triage is required, but accumulated costs may still trigger other routes. |
volatile_but_legible | The audience is unsettled but still has a visible explanation. | Enables public receipt, fan witness, or editor-proof stabilizing actions. |
ratings_floor_breach | The active broadcast has fallen below the corporate stability floor. | Requires a stability triage, schedule compression, or costly failure consequence. |
sponsor_clean_patch | Sponsor money or branded grief is carrying attention. | Reduces immediate churn while increasing capture, fraud, or distrust risk. |
public_receipt_floor | Public proof names the breach and lets the audience keep watching without a clean lie. | Improves legitimacy while increasing sponsor, inspector, or schedule pressure. |
pirate_attention_bridge | Unofficial relay or fan attention keeps the audience from abandoning the slot. | Slows churn while raising relay, inspection, sponsor, or fan oxygen pressure. |
schedule_compressed_floor | The production protects attention by moving, merging, or delaying a schedule slot. | Contains immediate breach while worsening slot capacity, timer risk, or blackout scars. |
audience_churn_spiral | The breach is hidden or mishandled until audience loss hardens. | Raises later stabilization cost and can feed Blackout Incidents. |
Assignment hooks
This card may be assigned to:
- Last Performance when a final broadcast risks becoming unwatchable or commercially unstable;
- 冠名氧气分诊 when sponsor relief moves cost onto fan oxygen or public grief;
- Broadcast Schedule when a slot is compressed, blocked, folded, or protected;
- a custody contradiction such as Voice Receipt when public explanation is part of the stabilizing cost;
- a relay branch using Pirate Frequency Relay Token when unofficial attention becomes the bridge.
Counter hooks

Valid branch costs
A stabilizing assignment is valid only if it preserves a cost:
- public proof stabilizes attention but worsens sponsor, inspection, schedule, or archive pressure;
- sponsor patch reduces churn but increases capture, distrust, fraud, or escrow debt;
- pirate relay slows audience loss but increases inspection, relay custody, fan oxygen, or sponsor pressure;
- schedule compression prevents immediate breach but creates occupied-slot, timer, or blackout risk;
- hiding the breach may buy silence but creates durable churn or backlash.
Non-goals
- Not a generic popularity score.
- Not a free morale refill.
- Not a fixed numbered trigger.
- Not a way for sponsor relief to erase fan oxygen or public receipt pressure.
- Not a substitute for Broadcast Schedule slot pressure.
