Pressure Claimant Conversion Chain / 压力认领人转化链

Pressure Claimant Conversion Chain is a non-character pressure storyline for the moment after a default actor has already acted, but before that actor becomes permanent background damage.

In Storyteller, an unstaffed crisis or stale route asset is not merely lost. Someone narrates the absence: sponsor, inspector, archive, fan public, editor, claimant, blackout system, contradiction, or the abandoned route asset itself. This storyline makes that narrator into a concrete RPG row that can be recruited in bounded form, appeased, exposed, quarantined, partially traded with, missed, or turned hostile.

Primary playable question

When another actor narrates first, can the producer still convert the pressure into a bounded relationship — and what must be paid, exposed, frozen, or surrendered if they try?

The answer must be visible as claimant state, target state, future route effect, and counter deltas. No claimant may become cleanly loyal, and no missed claimant may disappear as flavor text.

Gap diagnosis

The current mesh already has strong default and aftershock surfaces:

The remaining gap is the shared bridge: after a default actor appears, the engine needs a reusable conversion surface so the actor becomes RPG state before collision or coalition logic takes over.

State-triggered entry

Open this storyline when all are true:

  1. a stateful default, route-asset degradation, production triage failure, public queue, custody breach, sponsor patch, inspector freeze, archive seizure, editor autopatch, blackout fold, or contradiction names a default actor;
  2. the actor can be represented as a named claimant, faction row, public queue, proof carrier, route asset, or explicit pressure persona;
  3. the claimant has a target: person, proof, route asset, copy, public receipt, slot, legal body, archive docket, public queue, or route permission;
  4. the claimant has leverage and demanded control;
  5. at least one future route, rite, assignment, custody state, or recovery path will change if the row hardens;
  6. the player can answer with at least one response or explicit absence.

Do not enter this storyline from fixed turn count, arbitrary day count, chapter quota, raw count of content, or lens/dashboard health.

Content pack

Mechanic

Card

  • 压力认领人转化案卷 — board card that stores source event, named claimant, target, leverage, demanded control, conversion window, available responses, missing inputs, and future route effect.

Rite

  • 压力认领人转化听证 — assignable rite that attempts recruitment, appeasement, counterclaim, boundary/quarantine, custody trade, or hardening.

Event

Primary claimant families

A sponsor desk, Orion-like sponsor, stop-loss office, relief underwriter, or naming-right holder can convert to:

  • bounded sponsor escrow;
  • temporary standstill;
  • countered stop-loss clause;
  • managed custody owner;
  • hostile stop-loss claimant;
  • sponsor-only capture;
  • coalition seed after denied relief.

Key costs: contract_capture, sponsor_stop_loss_pressure, public_receipt_distrust, fan_oxygen_resentment.

Inspector claimant

An inspector, audit unit, lawful stamp holder, or seizure authority can convert to:

  • limited audit shield;
  • lawful gate;
  • counter-auditor;
  • quarantine authority;
  • hostile seizure;
  • mandate holder;
  • missed lawful witness.

Key costs: inspection_heat, bureau_favor_debt, archive_debt, public_grief_stability.

Archive claimant

An archive desk, docket owner, receipt keeper, copy signer, or lawful body custodian can convert to:

  • archive bridge;
  • custody split;
  • public counter-receipt;
  • sealed quarantine;
  • false owner;
  • recovery-only target;
  • coalition seed after source denial.

Key costs: archive_debt, custody_clarity, false_owner_pressure, public_receipt_legitimacy.

Fan/public claimant

A fan queue, oxygen ledger, pirate audience, memorial crowd, public witness chain, or refund line can convert to:

  • public witness bridge;
  • temporary public patience;
  • exposed counterclaim;
  • public-only custody;
  • hostile witness row;
  • fan backlash;
  • coalition seed after unpaid grief.

Key costs: fan_oxygen_resentment, public_receipt_distrust, sponsor_stop_loss_pressure, handler_burden.

Editor/cutroom claimant

An editor, black-box cut, checksum holder, source patch, or auto-clean copy can convert to:

  • editor checksum bridge;
  • temporary edit mask;
  • source proof counterclaim;
  • channel-limited copy;
  • editor-only custody;
  • hostile cutroom witness;
  • reality drift.

Key costs: edit_debt, source_ambiguity, reality_drift, archive_debt.

Route asset claimant

A person, follower, witness, courier, proof carrier, route asset, or protected body can convert to:

  • bounded helper;
  • rescue debt;
  • apology/payment route;
  • safehouse quarantine;
  • hostile witness;
  • captured asset;
  • lost or recovery-only route.

Key costs: handler_burden, route_asset_custody, witness_retaliation_risk, future_route_acceptance.

Blackout or contradiction claimant

When no human actor owns the failure, a blackout, contradiction, or broadcast fold can become an explicit pressure persona.

Valid outcomes:

  • bounded black-screen scar;
  • public explanation route;
  • quarantine of contradiction;
  • hostile reality drift;
  • schedule lane capture;
  • recovery-only broadcast route.

Key costs: black_screen_pressure, schedule_lane_scarred, reality_drift, public_receipt_distrust.

Branch model

Branch A — Recruit bounded route asset

The player converts the claimant into a limited helper, not a loyal companion.

Expected outcomes:

  • add claimant_recruited_bounded, route_asset_limited, audit_shield, sponsor_escrow, public_witness_bridge, or equivalent;
  • unlock or mitigate one future route family;
  • record debt, heat, capture, proof spend, channel limit, or future gate.

Branch B — Appease or buy time

The player delays hardening with payment, apology, language change, lawful hold, sponsor concession, public queue placeholder, or temporary custody.

Expected outcomes:

  • add claimant_appeased_temporary or standstill_bought;
  • keep conversion row visible with narrowing state;
  • future route remains contested or costlier;
  • a cost rises immediately.

Branch C — Expose counterclaim

The player challenges the claimant’s leverage with receipts, source proof, public witness, audit stamp, checksum, fan ledger, or unedited source.

Expected outcomes:

  • add claimant_countered, split_claim, public_contested, or lawful_contested;
  • lower leverage or false-owner pressure;
  • raise exposure, heat, sponsor pressure, archive debt, public risk, or edit debt.

Branch D — Boundary or quarantine

The player prevents clean capture by freezing the target, quarantining proof, limiting channel use, or making a route recovery-only.

Expected outcomes:

  • add claimant_bounded, target_quarantined, channel_limited, or recovery_only;
  • current route narrows, blocks, delays, or requires substitute;
  • recovery route names the required bridge and scar.

Branch E — Trade custody

The player gives a claimant one custody term to avoid worse hostile hardening.

Expected outcomes:

  • add managed_claimant, debt_owner, or partial_capture;
  • immediate route relief or delayed default;
  • future route requires sponsor, lawful, editor, archive, or public gate.

Branch F — Miss or harden

The player ignores, hides, underpays, lacks proof, answers without cost, or lets the claimant narrate first.

Expected outcomes:

  • 压力认领人硬化默认 fires or arms;
  • claimant becomes missed, hostile, captured, false-owner, mandate-holder, public-only, sponsor-only, editor-only, lawful-only, archive-only, recovery-only, or coalition seed;
  • future route availability, cost, channel, recovery, or hostility changes.

Counter contract

Every branch must mutate at least three surfaces:

  1. claimant state;
  2. target or future route state;
  3. cost/debt/heat/exposure/burden/scar.

Primary surfaces:

  • pressure_claimant_rows_open
  • claimant_conversion_window
  • claimant_leverage
  • claimant_trust
  • claimant_hostility
  • claimant_capture
  • claimant_missed
  • claimant_mandate_strength
  • coalition_seed_pressure
  • route_asset_custody
  • future_route_acceptance
  • inspection_heat
  • bureau_favor_debt
  • sponsor_stop_loss_pressure
  • contract_capture
  • archive_debt
  • edit_debt
  • public_receipt_legitimacy
  • public_receipt_distrust
  • fan_oxygen_resentment
  • handler_burden
  • black_screen_pressure

Missability and recovery

A claimant is missed when the conversion window closes before the player records a credible branch. Missed claimants must remove or increase cost for at least one future route.

Recovery is allowed only with a named scar:

  • apology with public receipt;
  • restitution or sponsor escrow;
  • lawful audit submission;
  • archive counter-receipt;
  • editor checksum disclosure;
  • fan witness repair;
  • safehouse/protection assignment;
  • route asset rescue;
  • boundary/quarantine conversion;
  • coalition split after another row appears.

Non-goals

  • Not a generic reputation track.
  • Not a diplomacy menu.
  • Not a fixed-turn timer.
  • Not bulk character filler.
  • Not a replacement for character-specific storylines.
  • Not a replacement for production triage, route asset maintenance, claimant collision, or adverse coalition systems.
  • Not valid if default actors remain abstract pressure numbers.
